Психологическата рехабилитация е насочена към ранна диагностика и терапия Two psychologists work at the Louis Braille School. Psychological rehabilitation relates to early diagnostics and therapy of children with visual impairments and multiply disabled children: cerebral palsy, autism, etc. The diagnostic functions of the psychology team are to diagnose psychomotor, psychosocial development and cognitive skills. In the process of therapeutic procedures students are involved in individual and group sessions; parent consulting and instruction are offered as well.  Special attention is paid to psychological support to teenage students and children coming from high risk families. Individual and group sessions are held with students on school violence prevention, drug abuse, sex education. Overcoming frustration, resulting from the visual impairment, has been an object of intensive psychological intervention through individual sessions.
